绘画的核心是绘心，画出自己的心象，去表达自己的诉求。黄山画家张忠平的绘画艺术就是归于这一类，他在色彩泼洒和流淌中，去呈现一种梦幻意境，画面给观者一种美的享受，令人耳目一新。

　　张忠平是黄山人，神奇的黄山和秀美的新安江伴随他度过了童年和少年，徽州的山川之美使他的童心萌动了对艺术的向往。从安徽黄梅戏学校舞美绘景专业，到中央工艺美术学院毕业，他有着非常扎实的造型基础。自他踏上久已向往的漫长而艰辛的艺术之路，他的足迹遍及长城内外，大江南北，搜尽奇峰打草稿，归来笔底起峰峦。路是人走出来的。他以大自然为师，他每到一处，遍访名师，结识书画之友，他的知识从此为之不断丰广，便是在自悟的法道上走出一条自己的路。

　　一方水土养一方人，张忠平的的绘画生涯是他在到黄山书画院工作以后。变幻莫测的黄山云烟，多姿多彩的江南秀色，如梦一般深邃、诗一般轻柔的新安江水孕育了新安画派，也成就了一代又一代画坛风云人物。当然，这个历史源远流长的人文环境也成就了来自徽山徽水的拓荒者。上什么山砍什么柴，入什么沟唱什么歌。他必须走进生活，表现自己最熟悉、感受最深、最美的东西。这块风水宝地实在是太美了，黄山的云松、徽州的古民宅、牌坊古道、流水小桥、茶楼酒肆、牧歌帆影……这一切无不激发他的绘画激情，数十年的艺术积淀在这个特定的环境中喷发出来。他的《木雕系列》、《徽州风情系列》和《黄山印象系列》走向各级展览，走向国内外许多收藏家的厅堂。

　　张忠平的绘画艺术不囿于现象世界景象的羁绊，他擅长以不一样视角和变异的方式去进行，信守涂鸦，借景抒情，意象天成。对他来说，如何运用好绘画工具固然重要，但超越狭隘艺术观，以独有视觉角度维度观察、体验、探索、实践，将平凡的物象异化为斑斓、奇妙、鲜明的艺术作品呈现于世更为重要。

　　他的画既有当代艺术对历史穿越梦幻般的美感，又忠于内心，肆意想象的从容。是自然审美和艺术境界对话过程中自我精神感受，“诗化”的写意精神，比纯粹的“写实”绘画更高级，更具穿透力，一更有艺术感染力。此风景非彼风景，是上帝把一颗真诚的灵魂放置在张忠平的艺术人生中。这必然会炽烈狂放的情感剖白、宣泄、幻化成别样绚烂的风景。

　　他的绘画知觉始终蕴藏着善变与巧妙，学传统各家之长，在技术上同样以点、线、面为主。在图式上较多地蕴含了南画之秀，在笔墨的运用及画面基调处理上更注意将个人的审美体验融入山水自然中去。且看画面那山峦丘壑之间缥缈云气，泼洒淋漓，色彩神秘，蕴含着古徽州山水之灵秀，多变而丰富的表现技法、大胆处理形式又具北方风格之浑厚。在今天，纯粹的复古是没意义的，要穿着大师的拖鞋走一走，然后把拖鞋扔掉，只有走进传统的深处去吸收传统，再走出来，并把它带入现代环境给以重组和重构，让其在现代环境中重现魅力，才是有生命的。境有心造，因心应物，感悟山川与人的对话，体验情感与心灵的交融。

　　The core of painting is to depict one’s heart, to draw one’s image and to express one’s own appeals and Huangshan painter Zhang Zhongping’s painting art is no exception. He can present a kind of dreamy artistic conception through his splashed color, which gives the viewer a kind of refreshing beauty to enjoy. Zhang Zhongping comes from Huangshan. He was brought up in the environment of Fantastic Huangshan Mountain and graceful Xin’an River. The natural beauty of Huizhou stimulated him to pursue art in his childhood. He majored in stage matte painting in Anhui Huangmei Opera School and then graduated in Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, which laid a solid foundation for his future career. On his long and painstaking road to art, he has traveled all over the country to paint the natural landscape. He learns from nature, visits famous painters, and makes friends in the circle of calligraphy and painting. In this way, he accumulates his knowledge gradually and has created his own style.

　　People are shaped by the environment around them, as the saying goes. Zhang Zhongping’s painting career started from his working in Huangshan Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Changeable cloud and mist in Huangshan, colorful and beautiful scenery in Jiangnan, profound and soft Xin’an River gave rise to Xin’an Art School and famous painters from generation to generation. When in Rome, do as Romans do. He must enter life to express the most familiar, impressive, and beautiful things. This wonderful land is really beautiful. All the things like the pine trees of Huangshan, the ancient civilian residences in Huizhou, the memorial archways and the ancient paths, the running rivers and the small bridges, the teahouses and the taverns, the pastoral songs and the sails have inspired his passion for painting. Decades of artistic accumulation has erupted in this specific environment. His Woodcarving Series, Huizhou Scenery Series and Huangshan Impression Series have entered exhibitions at all levels and the houses of collectors at home and abroad.

　　Zhang Zhongping’s painting art is not confined to the world views. He is good at painting from different perspectives and by means of variation, doodling, expressing emotion through natural scenery, achieving perfect images. In his opinion, how to use painting tools is important, but it is more important to go beyond narrow-minded outlook on art, to observe, experience, explore, practice from unique perspectives and to turn common objects into colorful, wonderful and distinct art works.

　　His paintings not only have a sense of dreamy beauty from historical crossing, but also are true to one’s own heart and wild imagination. His works are a kind of self-feeling through a dialogue between aesthetic appreciation on nature and artistic state. Poetic freehand brushwork is superior to pure realistic painting, more penetrating and artistic appealing. Since God has endowed Zhang Zhongping with a sincere soul. in his artistic life, he must express and vent his burning and wild emotions to form bright and colorful scenery.

　　His painting consciousness, which benefits from the traditional styles of different masters, is featured with variety and ingeniousness, though his painting is still created on the traditional structure made of points, lines and plane surfaces. The pattern of his painting is more of the literati style, which is focused on an integration of personal aesthetic experience into the landscape in nature. Just have a look at any of his landscape paintings, one may feel both the exquisiteness of the landscape in Huizhou, dreamy and mysterious, and the vigor of that in north China. Pure reversion to the classics is meaningless today, or rather a painter should learn from the great masters of the previous generations before they create his or her own, integrating the classical elements into the modern situation for recomposing, and thus giving them living glamour in the new situation. Artistic conception comes from one’s heart and the objects reflect it. His paintings provide opportunities for one to learn from the dialogue between man and nature and to experience the interaction between feelings and heart.
